Dr. Nancy Erb, LCSW
Dr. Erb’s early training in traditional methods of social work including working in Inpatient, Outpatient, Residential, IOP, Partial Treatment Programs. Dr. Erb helped many patients achieve greater balance in life however felt that many remained somewhat disconnected from achieving their optimum quality of life. Always, an astute learner and seeker of information, She was led to explore holistic treatment for patients seeking mental health therapies and guidance with substance abuse issues.
Embracing a mind-body-spirit approach comes natural for patients. Dr. Erb founded Shifting Your Gears, LLC as a model and metaphor for patients to easily access deeper levels of understanding and balance which often leads to behavior changes more closely aligned with their authentic self.
Using Neuro Emotional Technique and energy psychology patients are able to access limiting beliefs, identify early triggers and patterns and achieve healing by shifting their gears into new perceptions of observation while expanding their thresholds of self understanding leading to greater satisfaction.
Embracing this mind-body-spirit approach, Dr. Erb works with other practitioners to assist patients with their physical health goals and achieve even deeper healing through techniques such as family system constellations offered through Multiple Kinetic Systems.
Recognizing each patient is unique and often responds to different stimuli … visual, auditory or kinesthetic, Dr. Erb incorporates therapeutic essential oils, guided imagery and kinesthetic exercises and breath work for patients to achieve greater outcomes.
